MASUM 2010

Holidays had just officially started. 5 of us from our campus geared off to NlLAI for the year's futsal competition. Personally, i was looking ahead towards an enjoyable vacation-fully paid by the uni... eat and play and eat again!

(this was our waiting site before the bus slowly rolled in)

(team for this year-13 of us including the manager)

From day 1 training till Finals, there were countless incidents that happened. Lots of it were actually unexpected. Sometimes, this petty steps are the ones that teach us the most, enlighten us how much life has to offer, and also how important it is to nurture maturity in decision-making.

Herm, i guess it is nearly impossible to put all thoughts and feelings in one post. Humans are far more complicated than the greatest machine created on earth. We are in constant change everyday... nope not mutation.. just slight changes. haha

I've experienced something new in this competition. An element that i found nowhere but here. No doubt this experience had made me nearly broke down at one time. Now that i have grew immunity towards it, i believe it will never be a problem next time.

Emotions can be friend or foe in different moments. very true. At times, you hope so much to conceal a secret, but your emotions let you down in his way. On a lucky bright morning, your emotions can turn you from a plain charcoal into a diamond of all admirers. One just need that little knowledge of chemistry-synergist in other term.

Oh yeah, i had met great friends...though all older that me. But we do get along very well. The feeling of mixing with seniors from main campus with my own is so so SO different! They are super friendly. haha.. i will miss them so so much after this every time i touch the futsal ball! Our laughters roared louder than the bus engine. Our crazy jokes are much better medicine to sorrow. What else... many more...

Let's put aside all sadness and unhappiness... life is a brief candle... let it burn with dignity, bright and powerful!....

sports injury

Sports injury simply means one is adding excessive stress on his body.

We must beware that this doesn't only applies to professional athletes but even a normal individual can sustain such injury to a great extend if left untreated!

Over the years, i've indulge myself in various kind of sports. No doubt fun comes along with pain sometimes. Different sports pose their own risk of injury, no matter how careful we are. There are times where improvement comes side by side with slight injury. For example, in order to improve in our fitness and stamina, we need to go beyond our own limits, challenging ourselves to a higher level. This is what we call as ''level-UP'.. hahax

As a medical student, i really wished to learn more about treatments towards sports injury besides focusing on serious issues in the medical field. I believe the sports world has more to offer and more room to discover beyond all the fun and excitements that it promises.

1st year M

It's been a long long time since i last blog. (remembered vividly that the previous blog was dated back to post selanjar 3 exam)

To sum it all up, i can only say that 1 year passes so quickly. it's hard to keep up with the speedy time frame, probably this is the One that motivates us to improve and move on in life. Yeah, my 1styear in medical school is about to reach an end... thankfully with God's blessing, i was able to give my best and try to strike for the highest. herm, in this short 10 months, i've learnt so so so much. though excellence comes with some price-countless of hardwork i supppose. But when i look back and observe the transformation of my dear coursemates. I can see that each and everyone of us indeed had gain much from this journey-knowlegde wise, spiritually, moulding rapport. words are insufficient so elaborate the richness of all.

I am more and more hopeful in my education towards my dream. every exam that i go through seems to inject extra confidence that It is possible to be a skillful personnel...all it counts is a sincere heart to learn. i can't wait to enter 2nd year. yes, it will be a tough year with more responsibilities...juniors that guarantee 'irriatating moments'.. higher expectations... bla and bla

ok..back to the topic. yesterday, i attended an interview- in order to further upgrade my exam results. Of course it was never easy...never.. personally it think that giving excuses that i've been on holiday for a week before this board interview is just 'defence mechanism' if one is really well prepared-as how a true doctor should be, the answers will just flow easily.

i shall see this from another perspective, this is a window that opens to more room of improvement. One can never boast that he knows everything-especially in the field of medicine.
i really hope that great motivation will be the Light for my 2nd year fight... good luck to all my coursemates...

see you in next semester.... ta
